After the work decision
Picking up your vehicle.
How long can I leave my vehicle after it is ready?
Once McElroy notifies you that your vehicle is ready for pickup, you have 48 hours to pick it up without a storage charge. After the grace period, a storage fee of $25 per calendar day applies. McElroy may waive the fee or allow more time. If you need additional time, contact the shop before the grace period expires.
What if I decide not to have the repair done?
If repairs are declined, McElroy will let you know when the vehicle is ready to be removed. The same 48-hour grace period applies; after that, the $25-per-calendar-day storage charge may begin. Contact the shop promptly if you need more time.
Is the storage charge the same as rollback pickup?
No. Rollback pickup is paid transportation to the shop. Storage is a separate charge that applies only after the 48-hour grace period following notice that a vehicle is ready for pickup or removal.
